Ruth Owens - Cello
Ruth, from Preston, studied cello under Hannah Roberts at the Royal Northern College of Music. Since graduating with a Bmus (Hons), Ruth has performed regularly with the BBC Philharmonic and Hallé orchestras as well as the Lancashire Sinfonietta. In March 2004 she began work as a full time member of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. She still enjoys a varied concert schedule and has just completed a tour playing with Rod Stewart.
